Introduction

The Aga Khan School, Khot is over two decades old, having been constructed in 1983. It was upgraded to a high school in 2016.

The school serves over 350 students, 41% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 19 teachers present, and the student to teacher ratio is 1:21.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Peshawar board of examination (BISEP).

The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.


Admissions and Fees

New admissions take place in March and April every year.

For the admission process, we require:

  • Form B or birth certificate
  • Previous school's reports and certificates, where applicable
  • Admission application form
  • Parents' / guardian's CNIC

As of 2017, the academic year starts on 14th April and ends on 13th April for all schools in Chitral.

The monthly fee structure for the current academic year (for pre-primary, primary, middle and high) are as follows:

  • Pre-Primary: Rs. 725
  • Primary: Rs. 925
  • Middle: Rs. 1095
  • Class VI – VIII: Rs. 1145
  • High: Rs. 1725
