03 January 2019

Hajra Arshad was a studious student of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi (AKHSS), studying in the pre-medical group from 2016–2018.

During her studies, Hajra not only secured the 5th position at Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) Grade XII results-2018 but also attained admission in the MBBS programme at Aga Khan University in the current year.

Hajra demonstrated gratitude for the contributions of AKHSS had on her education. She said, “AKHSS, Karachi gave me the best platform to utilize my capacities and aptitudes to prevail in the world. It made me think outside the box to achieve my objectives. My teachers taught me in the most appreciable way and were constantly accessible to help me out with my queries. They buckled down on building my concepts and did not concentrate on rote learning. Furthermore, they taught me beyond the book which helped me in my university aptitude test.”

Hajra continued to say, “Along with academic studies, I engaged myself in different activities like sports which broadened my capabilities. Contemplating AKU-EB isn't a simple assignment, it requires concepts and detailed analysis of the subject. Yet, due to AKHSS, Karachi and the diligent efforts of my teachers, it turned out to be an easy task for me to anchor the fifth position in AKU-EB in grade XII and to achieve admissions in MBBS programme at Aga Khan University. I owe my prosperity to the praiseworthy endeavors of my school. I wouldn't have possessed the capacity to do it without them.”
