AKHSS Kuragh celebrates Annual Parents Day

As posted in Chitral Today, the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSS) Kuragh, observed its annual day with more than 100 parents in attendance.

In her address to all parents, the principal emphasized the importance of competent, professional, proactive and passionate teachers to deliver on academic excellence. Of the many achievements during the year, the school remained one of the top performing school affiliated with the Aga Khan University Examination Board with five students achieving the high achiever award and one student ranking once again among the top 10 students in the country. Furthermore, four students from the school joined the MBBS program, two students joined engineering at UET and NUST, and six joined the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. The school also celebrated 10 years of excellent existence on August 7, 2017 and was awarded the Academic Excellence Award 2017 by the Deputy District Education Officer (male) education department Chitral. The school participated in the District level Science and Mathematics Quiz Competition and Creative Writing competition out of which it retained the first position at the SSC level Quiz and Creative Writing competition.
